The Via Crucis exhibitions were—and are—an invitation to slow down, open one’s eyes, reflect, and initiate a dialogue. A dialogue that we wish to continue through this publication.

Monday, October 10, 2022, the first edition of the participatory and social art project 'Join the Party' will start at Cicero Care Center Ave Maria. An initiative of artist Jonathan Wanders and a special collaboration with the residents, staff and visitors of Ave Maria. It is an invitation to connect, a call to an open dialogue, to meet each other, to promote the enjoyment of life and to create something special together.

The temporary artwork Connector is part of the Community Art Project Reijmerstok and the result of 6 brainstorming and design sessions and 2 weeks of daily making sessions such as building, lugging, sawing, screwing and painting. The artwork is an ode to the volunteers, the true connectors.
